What you don’t need is another person dismissing your complaints of fatigue, muscle pain, skin concerns, weight gain, brain fog… you get the point. You just need someone that will listen for more than a couple minutes and be open-minded about the possibilities that what you’re experiencing may actually not be normal.

That’s where we come in! Introducing the Autoimmune Program, meticulously designed to address your needs through comprehensive testing, dedicated visits, and our wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Conditions we Treat

Autoimmune Conditions

Autoimmune conditions encompass a diverse group of disorders where the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own tissues, leading to inflammation, tissue damage, and a range of symptoms. These conditions can affect virtually any part of the body, resulting in a wide array of symptoms and complications.

GI Problems

Gastrointestinal (GI) issues are common in many autoimmune conditions. These GI issues may manifest differently, but often include symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, and difficulty swallowing.

Thyroid Conditions

Thyroid conditions, particularly autoimmune thyroid diseases, are among the most common autoimmune conditions worldwide. Two primary autoimmune thyroid diseases are Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and Graves’ disease, both of which involve the immune system attacking the thyroid gland.

Skin Concerns

Autoimmune conditions often manifest through skin changes and rashes. A lot of times, this is even the first sign of an underlying issues.

Brain Fog

Brain fog is a common yet often overlooked symptom experienced by individuals with autoimmune conditions. It refers to a sensation of mental fogginess, confusion, and difficulty concentrating, and is often considered “normal” for aging.

Fatigue

Fatigue is one of the most prevalent and debilitating symptoms associated with autoimmune conditions and is an often neglected and dismissed when brought up with traditional providers.

Rachel’s Story

One of very own co-owners, Rachel, has battled thyroid issues for years. Despite visits with primary care physicians and endocrinologists who repeatedly deemed her health as “normal” and dismissed her symptoms, Rachel persisted in seeking answers. Through further investigation and with the assistance of our Nurse Practitioner, Bethany Foss, they uncovered, via comprehensive lab testing and research, that Rachel has an autoimmune condition known as Hashimoto’s.

As a result of this discovery and Rachel’s personal journey with Hashimoto’s, she and Bethany collaborated to develop the autoimmune program, aiming to offer support and assistance to others who have encountered similar challenges.

Haley’s Testimonial

“When I found this autoimmune program, I was absolutely desperate. I couldn't remember the last time I felt great but after I had my daughter, everything seemed to go downhill and I just kept feeling worse and worse. I was previously monitored by a doctor but I just felt like we were shooting in the dark when it came to adjusting my medicine. After weaning my daughter, I knew there had to be something someone could do to help me feel better and quite frankly I didn't care what I had to pay for me to get my quality of life back. I was very depressed, anxious, losing hair like crazy, my gut hurt all the time and I was extremely tired.

I started my healing journey in April of this year and I thank God every day for Bethany and what she has done to help me. It was amazing what we got done in just a couple of months. I went from questioning if my quality of life was going to get any better to I actually felt good again. I am so glad that I continued to advocate for myself and found someone who actually listens to me and cares about how I feel! Because of Bethany's help, I am able to live a good quality life with my family!”

From Start to Finish

We offer an intensive 1-year autoimmune program to address the underlying causes of autoimmune conditions to help you feel your best. By identifying and treating these triggers, we can get you back to feeling your best while teaching you how to avoid recurrent flares.

Extensive and comprehensive laboratory examinations | Extended, high-quality visits | Individualized care plans & resources | 20% off other services

  • We must see you in-person for your first visit and for testing. After the initial visit with our Nurse Practitioner, you are able to do your visits with her through Telehealth.

  • Although symptom improvement varies from person to person, we typically see symptom improvement within 1-3 months of starting the program.

  • You will not be expected to change everything in your life; however, we will ask that you eliminate possible triggers for a period of time to help determine what is causing your inflammation. We typically make small changes at a time so we can understand what is helping your symptoms and what is not so that you will have the least restrictions possible. Once your triggers are identified, avoidance of those triggers is advised.

  • There is no cure for autoimmune disease, but this program can help identify triggers to your autoimmune disease. By eliminating triggers, remission of your autoimmune disease can occur.

  • Our nurse practitioners will manage thyroid medications during your time in the program. This management will be carefully tailored based on lab results and your symptoms.

  • Our team consists of a collaborating physician, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses. We have specialized training in functional medicine, weight management, thyroid and autoimmune conditions, vitamin and nutritional support, and family medicine.

Rachel is a co-owner and an Advanced Practice Nurse that developed the autoimmune program after suffering from an autoimmune condition herself. She has done extensive research and was able to heal her autoimmune condition and put it in remission with the same tools we will offer to you. She is a wealth of knowledge in this area and has worked closely with our other nurse practitioners to create a comprehensive program.

  • Although a year seems like a long time, when dealing with autoimmune or thyroid conditions, healing takes times. During the year long program, we will get to the root of your inflammation and pinpoint your specific triggers to help reduce inflammation and symptoms. Healing an autoimmune condition can take longer than a year and that’s why we have a direct primary care practice where you can continue your care after the year long program is over. You will be able to work with the same practitioner you saw during the autoimmune program and will get to continue working towards feeling your best.
